The chemical name for oxymetholone is 17 b -hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethylene)-17-methyl-5 a -androstan-3-one.
This is an oral steroid which is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone, this is the strongest oral steroid available. This has the potential to be a dramatic muscle building product. Strength and weight gains are very substantial. It remains the highest threat for serious adverse reactions of any steroid used today. Due to the fact that it is a C - 17 Alfa alkalated steroid, it is very toxic to the liver. It also causes excessive water retention. The first time I used Anadrol I had the worst acne out break this reflect the drugs high DHT level. I would not advice anyone to use this long term 4 – 5 weeks max. Many guys reported gynecomastia , the best thing is to use anti- estrogen drug while using. I quite often felt ill using anadrol, one bad side effect is loss of appetite even oat loaded protein drinks was a task to get through, I was lucky then most guys I never suffered from headaches, stomach pains, and other problems. For most, this drug is just too hard on the body. Due to the high water retention many guys experience a rapid loss in strength and weight post cycle. I would recommend one or two tabs a day.
